God, it's been forever since I journaled, so here's an update on life.

Got back from California on the 23rd, and good goddess, it was so amazing.  I know I've lived in Omaha for years now, but California still feel so much more like home than Nebraska ever will, even after so long.  I hung out with my family, went to Disneyland, went to the beach (bodysurfing FTW), skated, and just enjoyed being back there.  I mean, 7-11s, The Grove, Irvine Spectrum, Johnny Rocket's, Jack in the Box, In N Out...WE DON'T HAVE THAT SHIT IN NEBRASKA.  So I had fun while I could.  And it was amazing.

The best thing about this trip?

I didn't b/p at all while I was there.

Even better?

I've only b/p'd twice since coming back.

I don't know why. I mean, I've been eating a lot less, but I just haven't felt hungry.  It feels good to be semi-normal again, and I hope it lasts.

Anyways, life in general has been going a lot better, I feel a lot happier lately, and been feeling a lot better toward people, so that's good. 

I don't really know what else to say without jumping into a ramble, so I'll end here.

 OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, I lost 3 pounds. Yey me.

But THAT is not why I'm so thrilled today.

I farking love my grandparents.
And my aunt.
And my parents.
And my cousins.
And this entire summer, because it just got a whole hell of a lot better!

THIS BIRTHDAY IS GOING TO KICK ASSS!!

Why, you ask?!

Because from the 10th-15th, Grandma Marie and Grandpa Harko are going to be out here, and then from the 16th-23rd, Emmy, Tyler and me are going back to Cali with them! Which means I get to skate at Ice Castle again, and go to the beach, and Disneyland, and Sea World, and...HUZZAH.

It's just what I need, too - Grandma is such a healthy eater (she won't let us have a bagel for breakfast unless we eat some fruit) that I won't have the opportunity to b/p.

Life is so good right now.
